-After the lawn mower man left I was gladly getting ready to take a nap now that the loud "you killing my ears" yard equipment was done
-I noticed our AC was not running; it was heat index of like 110 degrees
-So we felt that heat immediately; no way it should have been off
-I pressed some buttons on the thermostat cause it kept saying "permanent hold" and I couldn't get that off nor could I could get the thermostat to stay lit up

-I walk out to look at the AC because I just had a feeling
-I wasn't ever too crazy about this lawn guy and plus I noticed he had another man with him, so I just felt something was off
-I do get having someone else with you, as it is too hot. 

-The regular guy usually never goes back by the AC unit. Don't need anyone to anyway, it's just some weeds back there that noone can see anyway, not important
-After going on the patio and glancing at the AC unit and not seeing anything unusual, I came back in and pressed more buttons on the thermostat

-I remember saying, "PLEASE.LET.THIS.WORK."

🥵But it didn't.

-So I went back on the patio; Moonflower was out walking and Luna was out there
-Moonflower said she can see the wires by the AC unit! I looked and there you had: a lot of wires sticking out
-I told Moonflower that she and Luna need to come inside since we have no air to cool off

🥵Called my husband, he came straight home...and as my GenZ kids in the family say, I love this: "This that and the other" went on
-We did "this that and the other"....

That night was very rough, thankfully we had a window AC in the office 
-Next evening we went to a hotel. I had Luna's favorites and food in office with the window AC so she was fine otherwise of course we wouldn't leave furry booty baby in that heat (or cold) whichever extreme temp

-This was heat dome, heat warnings...unfortunately not just regular heat

So now we head back home to meet the AC man, and
-I did all types of reading that said copper wire is like $20 dollars to replace and all he'll have to do is get some copper wire back on over the other wires

-So I'm expecting an extremely low price but he mentions that a fuse has blown (and that doesn't mean anything to me) but it meant something to the price

-He shows me the price and I was so shocked, I literally pushed his tablet and said "OMG how is it that high?"
-"We were prepared to pay much lower. And then you can't fix it until we pay in full right?"

He was like "Yeah I can't start the process without the payment setup."
I'm sure I was still like OMG OMG

He's just looking at me and then he presses some more buttons and it's $300 lower.

Yay for us 🌞🌞☀️☀️ Yay for this nice, cute little effect I have on people sometimes who want to help me out

I told him I was sorry for pushing his tablet lol he said that is all fine
