I don't scroll! I post healing content and get out. No comments.
Learning to not scroll takes a lot of practice but it's the only way to defeat the powerful algorithm, is to not use it.
But understand enough about it to realize you don't have to stop posting content if that's what you're good at
They also push out race-rage bait because it brings in more money.
But in fact my rage outbursts have stopped since keeping scrolling out my life
I'm also easily at the point now where if I accidentally click wrong and end up scrolling, first I literally panic and then I ask,
"Wait. How is anything on a scroll gonna make my life better?
Do I need this in my life?
Everybody that I like and love to death, we need to find other ways to connect because that is not the purpose of these platforms."
And I move on.
This has been more effective and long term than just quitting social media; that's like "quitting gambling"
