🍂We went to the mall today because yesterday, we just about floated away with all the thunderstorms.
⛈️I joke how it feels like Noah's Ark
🥵Today was really hot. I told her I look forward to when we can get in the car without the brutal heat
👛We enjoyed the mall. Super crowded, I guess cause we live in a tourist area near the beach so it stays crowded.
We didn't buy anything, just did some browsing, hanging out and laughing as usual
Moonflower got her some Auntie Anne's!!
I just ate one because of my gastritis/can't eat too much sugar but otherwise baby I would have thrown down

🥵The good thing about it being so hot, is that when it starts to cool off we were notice the drastic difference and cherish it.
🔥I went outside to turn the AC on for the car and....to my dismay, the car wouldn't start
I was getting ready to tell Joe, but when I went in his office I saw that he was eating
and since he had such a rough workday yesterday, I said let me wait a few minutes and wait until he finishes eating

🚗I thought it was the battery.
He knew it wasn't the battery.
He was able to get it started by pressing some + sign thing, he said he has to tighten something up

🚗Thankfully I glanced at what he pressed when he had the hood up,
because when me and Moonflower were leaving PETCO, it wouldn't start &
it was 🔥🥵but thankfully I got it on started quickly

I said "Well I don't know about you but I'm done for today."
🌛Moonflower: I thought you said we were going to WalMart [for the pumpkin]
I said, you want to go in this fire? So we'll go back home in the fire, get dad's car
And then drive back up to Walmart

Something along those lines, jokes about the heat
Then I was like, let's just go straight on to Walmart, the one by our house rather than going home and switching cars

🌳And thankfully, I found some shade to park under
The heat really got to Moonflower as we were walking in the store
Bless her heart

Wow, I loved baby dolls when I was growing up
The new generation though, hmmm, not in my family, I didn't notice any of the kids taking a liking to baby dolls
Now Barbie, they loved Barbie!
But pretending you're feeding a baby doll and getting her to sleep and all that, carrying her around sometimes
That was me. 

I remember one time I was about 9, and it was storming really bad
I got my baby doll, wrapped her up and watched over her, kept her safe like a mama

How about, OMG, how about:
One day when Moonflower was a little baby
It was storming, as it did often.
But 
But I had like a flashback to being a little girl with my doll but this time it was my real baby

I was on the sofa and Moonflower was so cheery, just glowing when she frolicked (lol) in and said
🧡"Can you believe it's 76 degrees!!!!!"

I said it definitely feels better than usual, but it felt way hotter than 76 when I let Luna out (on the patio)

Joe heard us & gave his view point and so then we just all went on the patio, while checking our phones' weather apps

I remembered that since we have not a single once of shade in the backyard the sun be blasting and that's why I felt hotter than 76
 🍂Either way, we're still heading towards Fall feelings

9/26
📙I planned for me and Moonflower to go to library's huge Fall book sale
🛝And then go walk at the park and pier, that are right near the library

🗝️Turns out: My car keys are missing
At first I was like there are hours left before the books sale is over
We can find them and still make it to the book sale

Joe and I were searching and searching, and I was like we got time, we'll find the keys
🧸Especially since there is a teddy bear key chain, which should make it much harder to lose
& easier to find

But 😵‍💫

🥵And as I was in the car searching for the keys I was like dang it's still very hot!
We missed the book sale & park
But thank goodness Joe had a spare key so we didn't miss her dental appointment Tuesday

9/27
My Birthday with Venus, the Sunset and Moonrise

We were going to pick up Luna's flea medicine 
And the vet is only 10 minutes away but we were both exhausted

It's most likely because Moonflower had a teeth cleaning a few days earlier
And due to insurance issues our dentist is over an hour away, and on the way back
We got stuck in a traffic jam because of an accident
So it took forever to get home

But, I was telling Moonflower while we were sitting in traffic; it's not us in the accident so we'll be fine, tired but fine

So back to going to get Luna's medicine,
I was driving and looked over to Moonflower and said I'm staying in this weekend, I don't know about you
(Well we do everything together, so yeah)
She was like I'm tired too, staying in

So this first weekend in October it was full of ⛈️🌦️
⛈️🌦️Entire
⛈️🌦️Weekend

Plus (Image soon)
Midol
Heating pads
and Raspberry Root Tea

So it was the perfect weekend to stay in

Under a hurricane watch; this is a mess.
It's currently expected to land Friday night
All of our phones gave that loud emergency warning saying the hurricane
and life-threatening conditions are  36 hours away

I started reminiscing and telling Moonflower that I can't believe she was only 9 years-old
for the last hurricane in 2020.
