Zygote is more like it 🤣 I'm totally secluding myself from everything going on, but of course, I've still been seeing a few things here and there. One thing is that the media seems to love talking about how Black women are tired and done and all that mess after the election.
Chile please.
I never ever believed in anything regarding this country. I had to be spiritual knowledge and warning from my ancestors since I was in my mama's womb.
No way would it ever take this type of injustice or election for me to be done with this hole of a country.
They love thinking we're all just so tired, downtrodden, hurt and miserable.
I've been drawn to human rights issues since I was 12. I began to notice inconsistencies and flaws within these movements. For instance, I noticed that with Black Rights issues, men were dominating over the women and were not including Black women as equals in the quest for freedom. I picked up on that just by looking at talk shows back then lol.
I loved Sista Souljah, Queen Latifah etc
So I then became drawn to feminism. Worldwide. Interesting enough that I didn't realize the depths of racism within women's rights, because I was just so focused on the women thing. Anyway, I stopped calling myself a feminist because I didn't like the messages and narratives that feminism was starting to represent.
How hard is it to just be like, "we're equal" without all the extra crap that these movements and labels conjure up.
I was always deeply affected by horrible cases of racism; however, those cases were happening in isolation and just not as public and frequently. When this started to change and I started my inspirational program for Black children, it was because I had faith and hope only in Black children. Not in any group of adults, and definitely not in any pathetic politicians nor this sorry ass country or world as a whole
