🐝Moonflower came to tell me that there was a huge bumble bee on the patio, and that it was trying to get out
🐝These are the huge bees that love my lemon tree. Once they get in a flower they do not move no matter what
🐝But my tree is not blooming yet, but I had seen this bee flying on the outside of the patio
🐝We have a lot of gaps, screen tearing etc but dang how that big airplane size bee slip through

I kept telling Moonflower that if this was a few years earlier, I would have jumped in the car and drove off.
We could see the antennas and hear and see the wings flapping
Once I started gardening in 2020 it took away my bug fear, but it was not automatic. It took me doing a lot of reading/educating myself about bug life

And now, they so cool. 😎😎

🐝So I opened the patio door wide, and I stood on the outside to keep my distance because I didn't want to make it mad.

😄It'll be like, scientists will be like "Well we've never seen an angry bee do that before." Look I dont want to be in any science books lol
Respect nature!

The bee had so much space to get out but it wouldn't go out
Moonflower's awesome self was so supportive, she was like "You need to get off the patio so we can close the door before everything else comes in"

🐈‍⬛Thankfully Luna was inside sleep, but she came soon

So then, I just decided to come on back on the patio, trying to coax the bee out but baby we respect nature and I was not trying to make that airplane mad.
That bee was like an albatross or something

I get back on the patio and the door starts closing...!There's only a small gap left and guess what, the bee flies out through that small gap as the door was closing!!!

My and Moonflower were thrilled! We jumped up, started laughing and were very chocked at the timing.
I swear that bee could understand what we were saying. It's so amazing how it flew through the gap as the door was closing.
It was like a scene in a movie
We high-fived each other
Then I decided to tape up some more holes in the patio screen and then plant some more cat grass seeds. Luna had been knocking over some of the pots and delaying her cat grass growth
