I know they have a new generation of fans and that's great, but we original New Edition fans are so lucky.Β
The fact that they were kids and so were we!! And now look at us.
We grew up together. Through their voice changes, their bodies, height, lyrics everything, we were all growing up together.

And to now be in our late 40's, 50's and 60's.Β
All 6 members are in good health!
They still have their natural, divine talents even if they're not going to be dancing as much.
And they're getting along again and have thankfully come together to give us fans this special treat, in which I can't think of any other examples where all the original members have been together for decades, and started as children!!

One of my nieces said, "I didn't know they were still touring. I thought they were like just doing one location or something."
I said I know right, lol, it would seem like it but we fans are so crazy

After the 2017 New Edition movie called the New Edition Story, we fans were ready for a tour but I think the members had some disagreements, and when it comes to business, can you imagine trying to get everyone on the same page?
I can't imagine how difficult that is.

So in 2018 they had RBRM, Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky and Mike!! And my husband took me to that concert!!
They couldn't sing like full New Edition songs, it had to be BBD and Bobby Brown.
There was so much going on in safety wise as a Black person, I do remember feeling a sense of relief and family as I looked out into the audience and we were just living and enjoying ourselves

So it was still beautiful; but of course, it's a miracle to be able to see them all together again.
Also, this was the first concert I went to as a little girl.

💙My dad took me and my older sister. I really think we were in line getting some popcorn and drinks, and then as we were walking to our seats the music started and I remember smoke, and I think I was walking so fast that my dad said, slow down, don't waste your drink.
I was about 9!!
Now I think that's what happened. You know how your memory gets all cluttered and you be adding in stuff but I think that's how it happened...

First concert to now.
