I am elated about Unrivaled. This was my Christmas gift to myself: watching Unrivaled on January 5th!

However, which genius decided to start the season on a Monday, during the day time and the middle of the day. 12pm. I don't turn my TV on until like, 8pm usually so I'm just kind of sitting here looking, but these first 2 games should have been done at night or on a weekend

Alright with that out the way...
I'm hoping for a phenomenal season, low injuries, low ejections, low drama and professional officiating. 

And the biggest news is that poor Napheesa Collier will miss Unrivaled as she has to have surgery. So disappointing.
But this is just 1 season, let's take it slow

Alright it's the night time games and they begin by doing a trophy and banner presentation for the first ever champions from last year, the Rose.

I was like yesssss, literally counting the bouquet of roses on the table and saying "Yes I know one of those bouquets is for Angel Reese. I didn't get to see her celebrate when they won the championship because she was injured, but that was such a downer for her to not be there. So I was like okay, we get to see her with the beautiful rose bouquet in this whole, fresh new year and bring closure for how last year ended without her🌹🌹

But when I saw all the players in line and I didn't see her; I was like not again! ☹️🥺🙁

I went by her IG and she's fine. She was getting on a plane or something and it also looks like she was at some basketball game earlier.
