Someone asked if I was going to watch Tyler's movie Straw, and I was like now you know I have too much rage and Tyler Perry and Lee Daniels affect me worse than anything in my own life.
We were laughing and she was like, girl you need help. I said of course I need help, I'm getting help and have made major improvements-it's exhausting though because I have to work at calming my mind, every single day. 
I can't take Tyler Perry, Lee Daniels movies/tv shows. My therapist said seeing other people suffer brings back your own trauma to your mind, so while you're watching someone else's pain you are interpreting and feeling based on your own trauma and experiences.
So then I realized my mind then starts absorbing other people's pain into my own, until I become convinced that what I'm witnessing is no different than my own life.
