My husband's favorite color is green!
After being together for all of these years, and me loving and requesting any type of flowers for Mother's Day, my birthdays and just because; when I was in the store the other day doing some shopping for his birthday, I walked past the flowers and was like, "Wait a minute! I can definitely turn the tables and buy some flowers for him!"🌷💐🌻

I was in the store thinking, "Flowers are about nature and pretty flowers are not just a woman thing. Flowers can be for men too! But, my husband has never asked for flowers, and plus I don't recall him ever saying he has a favorite type of flower. Should I...."

Well of course I should lol.

Since his favorite color is green I had to go with this bouquet featuring mums and daisies.

Birthday Ideas for Him

So at first I was looking for some type of T-shirt or even one of the sentimental and personalized gifts from ETSY like I did last year for Father's Day; however with his birthday being so close and I was running out of time, you know how you need something that's "2 day shipping." But man, it is so boring trying to find quick, pre-made gifts for men. I also had just a week, so I didn't have time or honestly the budget to try and figure out which type of official sports team merch that he didn't have and would want.

Even ChatGpt wasn't much help. I put in the main things he's passionate about (sports teams, Navy veteran, Marvel), and his age, and asked for quick ideas. Chile ChatGpt was like...just as boring as what I was finding on Amazon.

I'm so grateful that it dawned on me, hey, he's already asking for me to do his 50th birthday party in 2 years, so how about we go ahead and work out some ideas, even though it's for his 48th and for just us 3!

Basically with just 6 days until his birthday I came up with the idea to do one of my party tables that I've always done for Moonflower's birthdays.

Theme: Acting

So my husband has always been a movie buff who evaluates film scores with lots of detail, knowledge and creativity. So I knew I wanted to have a section about film scores or musical scores or movie scores. I mean it has so many names. And get this, I had to learn the difference between movie soundtrack and movie scores. My mind totally glosses over those type of details.

So okay!

"Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole is just gonna always follow my husband around lol. So on a technical side, that "E" almost got cut off lol. It's no big deal, no perfectionism here with me anymore.
