### **H2: Finding a Family-Friendly Halloween Attraction**
We went to a haunted walkthrough; it was not a Haunted House, because chile' neither Moonflower nor I am able to handle all that, especially the way this world is, every day feels haunted and like horror lol. This was really cute, lots of little kids but still some scary decorations. So it's basically where these people set up their front yard and backyard with all types of Halloween decorations-like what's in Home Depot and Spirit Halloween. It was very unique as I had never been to anything like that. Really creative! I found out about them last year on FB, when I was looking for best neighborhoods to Trick or Treat in. Even though Moonflower is a big girl now (14), I felt like she might want to get one little last taste of childhood so that's why I was looking for somewhere to TrickorTreat. But she said she's good on that lol, so we went on ahead to this presentation, as they will do the same on Halloween but it will be too crowded. I said let's get this on out the way.
### **H2: Moonflower's Halloween Outfit of the Night**
We really enjoyed ourselves; it was cute and really meant to be an addition to Trick or Treating-the last, best house on your Trick or Treating stop or something like that. So it was really short, and so Moonflower was like "Do you want to go to the Mall because I didn't get dressed up for nothing?" Yes ma'am I hear you, lol!Β Moonflower's Outfit: A black graphic tee of the character Tomie Kawakami , black shorts with a loose black belt, black tights, and black platforms.
### **H2: A Spooky Driveway Turnaround Dilemma**
Crowded, turning around. This subdivision, like I suppose most are, was one way in and one way out. So I was going to have to turn around in someone's driveway, otherwise if I go in a circle then I would be going back by the house with all the activity. And with smoke, and just tons of kids everywhere, I wanted to avoid that strip of road. So, I said I'm going to turn into a driveway where it looks like no one is home. It is annoying when people turn around in your driveway, and with so many horror stories out there about this type of thing, I try to avoid it. So basically, there was a car behind me and I was going too slow so I went ahead and turned into a drive way to especially get out of these people's way. How about when I turned into the driveway, the car that was behind me just sat there in the street! They didn't keep driving past the house! I was like Ohhhh nooooooo, please don't tell me the same thing is happening that happened to me in the past.
### **H2: Flashback: A Past Driveway Mishap**
Once again it was me and Moonflower, but it was a while ago, she was about 3 years-old and we went to a Christmas Parade in the very small little town we were living in. Time to leave... I get lost and stuck in a neighborhood and pull into these people's drive way to turn around. How about, the homeowners or whoever lived there were right behind me. I was like you have got to be kidding me. They didn't block me in. They were just sitting there in the street and waited for me to pull out of their drive way.Β They did pull in and I was just shocked at my unlucky timing, however I was so grateful that everything worked out safely. They had a right to be mad and I'm grateful they didn't approach me. I was sitting there because there wasn't enough room for me to pull out and they were sitting there not moving, so it hit me, "Oh my goodness this is those people's house." LOL. Well thankfully, in this instance, the car that was sitting in the street waiting pulled into the house across the street. I'm still not sure why it took them so long. But while getting on out of there, I mentioned that previous story to Moonflower and she was like "Ohhhh, wowwww!"Β
### **H2: Our Conversation on the Way to the Mall**
Finally we are out of that neighborhood with those gorgeous houses built in the 1970's or so. The type of houses that have their own personality. We were talking about how boring the new subdivisions are with their cookie cutter houses. We were talking about one reason the older houses look so good is because they were built better. She mentioned how she follows someone on IG and they said what I heard one time too, "Houses are made to sell, not to last." While we're talking and heading to the mall, it looked so fun because we passed by so many restaurants with their outdoor lights, people outside eating. Moonflower noted how everywhere was so crowded and how there was so many people out! I was like it might be like this all the time, we're just usually not this far down out this way. Then we started mentioning tourism and things like that and we were like, yeah, it's probably always this crowded.
### **H2: Missing the Mall Turn and a Parking Lot Adventure**
Next thing I know, I say, "There's the mall"...but I could not get over in the right lane. And Moonflower was like "Wow all that traffic, how are we going to find a parking spot." So all at the same time, it's like "There goes the maaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll." It was like, Bye Bye Mall, because those cars were not letting me over. So we missed out turn and were laughing how it was like, there goes the mallllllllllll. I was like, the mall came and went! I turned around in a hospital parking lot. It was a plastic surgery area and I was like, this should be empty because no one is getting plastic surgery this time of night. It's too hard to explain but when I got to the stop sign in the parking lot I wanted to just loop around, but since there was another car at the other stop sign...ARGH!!! I had to go on and continue further into the parking lot, which now lead to the hospital's main parking lot. Cars everywhere. I just needed to find an empty spot to pull in and turn around.
### **H2: Why a Hospital Shouldn't Have Skeleton Decorations**
While I was doing that, Moonflower said "Oh wow look at that skeleton, that's neat." And I look at see that she's talking about a green skeleton that someone had on the back of their jeep.Β I was like "Ohh, you're talking about that car, because for a minute I thought the you saw skeleton decorations as the hospital." We started laughing! She was said, "A hospital with skeleton decroations would be such an evil thing." I know right, we were laughing!!!! Because I was like, "When you're in the hospital or visiting your family in the hospital, a skeleton is the last thing you want to see." 😁🤣😂
### **H2: Our Mall Trip and World Market Haul**
We finally get a parking spot at the mall, and I was like "Look at us, hanging out like teenagers 🤣Well you are a teenager and you need to get with your cousins but for right now, you got me." World Market: Let me not be so wordy and let the photos do the talking. This was our first time in here and we did like we usually do when we are in a store with amazing products and displays: Oooh, awe, wow, look at this, OMG..... We'd be laughing at each other's excitement and having such a blast.
### **H2: The Story Behind My Halloween Chicago Sky Shirt**
My Chicago Sky shirt: Joe took a trip to Chicago a few months ago to visit a friend, and he came back with Lake Michigan T-shirts for Moonflower and me, and a Chicago Sky T-shirt for me. This was of course, before I knew how dirty the Chicago Sky franchise is.Β Since we were going to a Halloween themed event, I was reminded of an extremely brilliant and funny comment I read online during the Chicago Sky drama with Angel Reese. This guy posted, the Chicago Sky is Halloween because their record is 10-31. Brilliant. At the time there were 10-31 and finished the season, 10-34. Angel deserves better. But anyway so yeah, that's why my Chicago Sky shirt is my Halloween shirt lol.
