Rose vs Mist
I think I got my dates right. But anyway I had to watch this double header via my recording, and for some reason it plays the second game first. So that's the way its set in my mind. Me watching the Rose vs Mist and man it was a tough, downer of a game.
I've been behind on posting but I know for sure I'm gonna add a drooping rose as the image for this post 😥
Are the Unrivaled (and WNBA) referees qualified?
The referees are killing me. It's just that women are very competitive and fiery like me, lol, but I remember WNBA players and coaches having lots of evidence regarding how inconsistent and terrible the referees are and it unfortunately has to be the same frustrating situation here. Something needs to be done regarding these bad referees!
It does start to interfere with not only the flow of the game but with the enjoyment of the game.
Teams should be playing against each other, not against so-called referees who need vision tests, or need to review the game rules or something.
It's like the referees start nodding off and then get waken up and decide to randomly call fouls.
So this is definitely why Rickea Jackson was so disgusted and frustrated and ended up being ejected. Referees gotta do their jobs! Angel Reese was also in terrible foul trouble all throughout the game.
I do my best to keep social media out of my life, life is too short, so I don't know about any other perspectives from people who are more knowledgeable about officiating, and also, I don't know exactly what pushed Rickea over the edge, this is just from my perspective without the noise and hate of social media and media.
I blame the referees.
So my Rose girls didn't pull it off. For the Mist to have been short-staffed my goodness they were so focused and on fire.
Dijonai Carrington played hard, she was really hustling and was really effective. Oh, and tell me how Breanna Stewart was laying those shots in. This game was the hottest I had seen Breanna be so far.
Lunar Owls vs Vinyl
Vinyl is my other favorite team mainly because of Teresa Weatherspoon. She is from the early days of the WNBA and I've been a huge fan since.
Vinyl has struggled but was actually holding their own and doing very well against the #1 Lunar Owls. By the last quarter Lunar Owls started to run away.
So both my teams lost
