Tonight while watching the Jefferson's, it was the episode where Florence goes to an upscale spa in hopes of meeting some celebrities, and plus just for her much needed self-pampering.
I was smiling so big because I remember how cute it is that's she's going to be right by Gladys Knight, but won't be able to tell that it's her.
For instance, they were both getting a massage but kept turning their heads at the same time, so that way Florence could never get to see Gladys.

That's the scene my husband walked in on and saw me smiling.

The Jefferson's is 1 of the shows that helped calm my mind, while I was in the hardest parts of my healing journey back in 2024.

"That's What Friends are For"

So I've always loved this episode, but since "That's What Friends are For" is the current song that's stuck in a loop in my head, that made seeing Gladys Knight more special.

"That's What Friends are For" was a favorite of mine as a child. So in the car the other week, the station (what is it called, the online stations or whatever), anyway, played the song and that's when I was like "Ooooh I'm going to add it to my playlist."
So I've been watching the video and singing it; of course I have to sing when no one is around since I can't sing and my voice is like yowling cats or worse lol 🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛🐈

When I was looking at the video, I was like wow, Gladys was so pretty and young!

I also loved thinking about how I loved the song as a kid.

Sung by Dionne Warwick, Elton John, Gladys Knight, and Stevie Wonderย
Released: 1985

🎵🎵🎵
When a song loops in my head, it lasts for like 2 weeks; and there literally won't be much I can do to get it out my head. I wake up with the song on my mind, and when I'm falling asleep, the song plays in my mind. And throughout the day. I think that's pretty common. But yes, I do be ready for my brain to move on. Lol.
Seriously, it be like every note, every lyric, every whatever musical terms there are, has played over and over and over in my mind; it's like okay now, brain? Enough.
But that's just what happens.
So, that is why I was so nice for me to see Gladys Knight on the Jefferson's while one of her songs was alive in my head 🎵🎵💓💓
