New Baby, New Year, Sleepy Parents
Moonflower has started her first official New Year off with a bang! Well, on December 31st at about 11:50pm, Meg had been sleeping well so we assumed she would continue sleeping. We had our champagne ready and thought we’d toast for the New Year and get some much needed sleep. Well Miss Moonflower woke up at about 11:50 pm, I guess she wanted to see the ball drop in New York. 🤣
She played & played and just would not go back to sleep like she usually does after her late night feedings. We put her on her pallet and she started spinning around in circles. She started doing this during the end of December.
She’d get on her stomach and spin around and start laughing. She was also doing her new pointing her finger thing. When I read to her I point at the words in the book so she has certainly picked that up. Her little fat fingers are too cute.
Basically, she kept playing & fighting sleep & didn’t fall asleep until 3:17 am! We couldn’t believe this & were exxxxxxxhausted.
