Candy Cane Activities

These A+ reading comprehension sheets can be used when reading stories about candy canes or Christmas.

This incredible K-3 resource includes goodies such as: candy cane themed reading pages, a candy cane craft, a candy cane board game, grammar candy cane sorts, phonics lessons, a matching game, math lessons and more!

A sweet and free word search puzzle sheet to print and play:

“Candy Cane Hunt” (think of it like an Easter Egg Hunt) is an adorable game for the little ones. Place some candy canes in different, easy-to-find locations around your home, or outside, or where ever is best for your kids. Small children love these type of adventures; this is so cute to try before they get big. My kids are all big now, and I miss so much when they were little. However, I’ve always known that they will grow up eventually, lol, so “getting bigger” is to be expected. 🙂

These peppermint ideas range from sensory play to math to treats:

Wow! What a phenomenal photo of candy cane slime; here are some of the ingredients involved: shaving cream, foaming hand wash, baking soda, red acrylic paint, peppermint extract and candy cane fragrance oil.

Homemade candy cane syrup; this is absolutely intriguing and definitely the first time I’ve seen anything like this, but then again that can be said about most clever things on Pinterest
